About Laurie
Laurie has a variety of experiences that give her career knowledge across a wide range of industries. She utilizes a direct yet empathic approach to coaching, understanding her clients' needs and setting them up for success.
Laurie has worked as both a career counselor and a recruitment professional, giving her insight into both sides of the employment process. After working for more than a decade in university settings with graduate students, undergraduate students, and alumni, she transitioned into recruitment as a Managing Director at Teach for America and later as the Head of Talent at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. She has experience in the corporate sector as well, having worked in global sourcing and production for Gap, Inc. back in her early career.
Laurie holds an M.A. in Applied Psychology from NYU, and a B.A. in history, summa cum laude, from Duke University. She resides in NJ with her husband and two children.
